BBH offers 800 shower kits to Stëmm vun der Strooss

This is the second time that the non-profit “Stëmm vun der Strooss” has received a generous donation of shower kits from the bank Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH).

The social restaurant, located at 7, rue de la Fonderie in Hollerich, has 2 showers for men and 1 shower for women. These showers are available free of charge to the beneficiaries of the restaurant and premises in general from Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 16:00.

BBH collected and packaged 800 shower kits, which were then offered to Stëmm to be distributed for free to people who come to shower every day.

 During the annual festival of employees that took place in March, more than 100 employees of the bank happily participated in the production of the shower kits. The products required for putting together the shower kits had all been previously purchased by BBH.

In the past, BBH has also done a free audit of administrative work performed by Stëmm employees. The employees of BBH have also helped with several events for the clients of Stëmm vun der Strooss at Christmas time.
