Heartwarming knitwear from the Strassen Senior Club

Earlier this year, the Club Senior Stroossen launched an appeal under the motto: Knitting and crocheting for a good cause. For the coming winter, Stëmm vun der Strooss needs support as there is always a great demand for warming knitwear during the cold season. 12 ladies volunteered, who have been knitting and crocheting diligently at home for months. This valuable occupation has in turn helped many of them to deal with their isolation. Especially at such a complicated time, it was important to know that you can still help others. Besides a lot of wool, they gave a lot of heart and soul to the mission. In mid-October, everything was collected in the Senior Club and almost 200 individual items, including more than 90 caps, 60 scarves and 40 arm warmers, were given to Claude Consdorf, who is in charge of the dressing room in Hollerich at 7, rue de la Fonderie.
