Luxembourg Jazz Combo and Fernand Neumann will be playing at the Stëmm’s Christmas party
With the traditional Christmas party is fast approaching, everyone at the Stëmm vun der Strooss is getting busy with preparations.
On December 22nd, the Stëmm will welcome 300 people in need for a festive meal and entertainment at the Centre Culturel in Bonnevoie. This important event can only take place thanks to the support of numerous volunteers and donations by individuals, organisations and businesses.
At the initiative of Capra Ruany, Luxembourg Jazz Combo has volunteered to play during the first part of the event to create a merry atmosphere for those less fortunate. The ‘Jazz made in Luxembourg’ band counts five members: Ciccone Michel on the jazz guitar, Dinev Boris on percussion, Alex Gilson on the double bass, Capra Ruany on vocals and Sales Luca on the piano. For this occasion, Luxembourg Jazz Combo will be playing their festive composition “Swinging Christmas by LJC”.
For the remainder of the event, musician and “Laachen fir ze heelen” asbl. president Fernand Neumann will take over for the band and entertain the Stëmm’s guests on piano and saxophone. Mister Neumann already volunteered to play at the Stëmm’s 2015 Christmas party, hoping that more musicians would follow suit, and is thus excited about Luxembourg Jazz Combo’s commitment.
