More than 4 700 meals offered by Renmans to the Stëmm vun der Strooss
For the tenth consecutive year, the partnership between Stëmm vun der Strooss and Renmans butchers has just been renewed: Renmans has promised to supply 564 kg of meat free of charge, thus guaranteeing the preparation of more than 4,700 meals for the underprivileged who push the doors of the social restaurants in Hollerich and Esch-sur-Alzette every day.
As sales manager Serge Jadin explains, an offer was launched in December in all Renmans butchers’ shops in the country: “For every 3 trays sold, we decided to donate the quantity of meat needed to prepare a dish to the association Stëmm vun der Strooss. “The director of Stëmm vun der Strooss, Alexandra Oxacelay, added: “Since the beginning of this partnership, which dates back to 2011, our kitchens have prepared more than 30,000 meals thanks to these donations. I hope that one or the other company in Luxembourg will choose to imitate you, because poverty is increasing”.
