Press release: LTA shows solidarity with the Stëmm vun der Strooss

The Lycée Technique Agricole Gilsdorf contributes to the Stëmm vun der Strooss projects. Represented by Romain Tobes, deputy director of the LTA, and Manon Roemen, management member, the high school presented a cheque worth €4,000 to Bob Ritz, communications officer of the Stëmm, on Tuesday 27 March 2023.

A group of students also took part in a presentation about the activities of Stëmm, which was followed by the ceremonial handing over of the donation. The high school students were able to get to know the new social restaurant of the the association in Ettelbrück through pictures. As the financing phase of the renovation costs has been completed, the donation will enable the Stëmm to stock up on non-perishable food for the restaurant in Ettelbruck, which serves an average of 60 to 80 meals per day.

This generous donation was made from the proceeds of a Christmas market held at the Lycée in the winter of 2022. It is to be mentioned that the entire Lycée and the Parents’ Association took part in this and were thus able to raise this amazing sum.
