Press release: Renmans and Stëmm vun der Strooss – longstanding partners

For the 12th year in a row, Renmans, represented by Serge Jadin, has decided to support the social restaurants of the Stëmm vun der Strooss in Esch-sur-Alzette and Hollerich. It is plannedthat Renmans will donate 24 kg of meat to the Stëmm one day per month from January 2023 to November 2023, which is equivalent to 264 kg during these 11 months. The various kitchens will thus be able to obtain supplies from the nearest butchery to their location.
In addition to this wonderful partnership, Renmans has been donating 300 kg of meat free of charge to the Stëmm since the beginning of December and until the end of this year, enabling the social restaurants to offer beautiful dishes during this festive month and feed a population that is constantly growing, with an average of 300 meals served per day in Hollerich, 150 meals in Esch-sur-Alzette and 50 meals in Ettelbruck.
During the month of December, Renmans also organises an awareness campaign among its customers and for every three meat platters sold, Renmans donates one meal to the Stëmm. This campaign is part of the company’s social responsibility policy with the slogan: “Quality for all!”. Christmas and New Year are not only about conviviality and tasty meals, but also about sharing. Values that Renmans takes seriously. Thus, the Stëmm vun der Strooss association counts on us every year to help those most in need”, explains Serge Jadin.
Since the beginning of this partnership, the Stëmm has benefited from donations of top quality, fresh meat enabling the preparation of over 50,000 meals.
On 16 December 2022, the representative of Renmans was invited by Alexandra Oxacelay, Director of the Stëmm, to discover the activities of the new vocational reintegration workshop of the Stëmm Caddy in Sanem. He was introduced to the new infrastructure and to the cooks and the 30 people who are receiving a vocational reintegration measure. They will process the Renmans’ meat.–
