Press release: The Order of Malta Luxembourg invited to a New Year’s lunch

On 31 December 2022, a New Year’s party was held at the social restaurant of the Stëmm vun der Strooss at 21 rue de l’Eglise in Esch-sur-Alzette. A total of 170 meals were served to the beneficiaries, who were clearly happy to meet in a convivial atmosphere at the end of the year.

The lunch was organised by the Order of Malta Luxembourg and its President Jessy Morbé. Ten members of the Order of Malta Luxembourg participated as volunteers in serving the food. The Stëmm vun der Strooss provided the dining room and the person in charge of the Esch-sur-Alzette site, Francesco Settanni, was also present. The latter was able to count on ten external volunteers who, with their help, ensured the good organisation of the lunch. These volunteers included staff from KPMG, Hein Group, State Street and Fidelity International.

When you can count on good partners, beautiful projects can emerge. The Stëmm vun der Strooss and the Order of Malta Luxembourg regularly work together to help people in need. So you can be sure that the year 2023 will also be rich in charitable actions between the two actors.
