Press release: The pupils of the Lycée Guillaume Kroll are once again committed to the Stëmm vun der Strooss
The Lycée Guillaume Kroll in Esch-sur-Alzette presented a cheque for 1750€ to Bob Ritz, Communications Officer of the Stëmm vun der Strooss, on Tuesday 15 March. The school management, represented by deputy headmaster Bertrand Goergen and management assistant Marie Degée, explained that this generous sum was collected at the traditional Christmas party of the high school, which was a great success, mainly thanks to the willingness of the pupils.
Many of the young people who took part in the fundraising last December are part of the Cap Futur project of the Lycée Guillaume Kroll. This project is innovative in that, in addition to the lessons (as in the other classes), special attention is given to developing the students’ responsibility and maturity.
And this is making an impact, because in addition to the financial donation, the students have also given a donation of clothes and food to the Stëmm.
The non-profit association is very proud that young people are so committed to the fate of disadvantaged people, and the financial donation will enable the Stëmm to stock up on supplies to meet the needs of the beneficiaries.
