Press release: The pupils of the Lycée Hubert Clément are committed to the Stëmm vun der Strooss

The pupils of the “3ième” of the Lycée Hubert Clément in Esch-sur-Alzette, who participate in the elective course “Bénévolat”, supported the Stëmm vun der Strooss. On the initiative and under the guidance of Professor Sarah Panteghini, the young people organised a football match between teachers and students on the last day of classes before the Christmas holidays. On this occasion, a betting game was launched before the match to collect as much money as possible to be donated to Stëmm.

Another project of the students was to sell croque-monsieur and cakes inside the school on the day of the game, which also raised funds.

At an official donation handover on Wednesday 9 March 2022, a cheque of €500 was presented to Bob Ritz, the Stëmm’s Communications Officer. This meeting was also a good opportunity to introduce the students to the activities of the association and the different forms of volunteering it offers.

The Stëmm vun der Strooss would like to thank the students for their commitment and is pleased that Sarah Panteghini and Bob Ritz have already started talks about future projects.
