Press release : The school Alzeng am Duerf donates to the Stëmm

At the beginning of the year, the school Alzeng am Duerf in the municipality of Hesperange committed itself to helping the service Kanner Stëmm of the Stëmm vun der Strooss.

A cheque for 500 euros was presented to Bob Ritz, Communications Officer at asbl, on Friday 24 February 2023, In the presence of the teachers, the pedagogical staff of the Maison Relais and the pupils of Cycle 1. This generous sum is the result of sales resulting from a Winter festival last year. The teachers explain: “With this donation, we want to encourage our students to help children whose families are in need.

Indeed, the help from the Alzeng am Duerf will benefit the Kanner Stëmm service to cover the first emergency needs of families or single parents.  The Kanner Stëmm service is thus aimed at supporting children and families who have a social problem.

The Stëmm vun der Strooss would like to thank the teachers, the educational staff from the Maison Relais and of course the pupils for their generous gesture.
