Renmans dedicated to provide the Stëmm vun der Strooss with 4 500 free meals from December 2016 to November 2017

On November 25th, Stëmm vun der Strooss vice-president André Theisen and director Alexandra Oxacelay met with the Renmans butchers’ team in Bertrange in order to renew their partnership from December 2016 to November 2017.

Renmans is a family business represented with 10 butcher’s shops in Luxembourg by Serge Jadin. Between 2011 and 2016, Renmans’ provision of free meat has allowed the Stëmm to serve more than 25 000 meals*. And in 2017, the support continues!

For December 2016 alone, Renmans will provide the Stëmm with enough meat* to prepare more than 2 500 meals.

Furthermore, from January to November 2017, Renmans will provide the Stëmm with enough meat to prepare 200 meals* on a monthly basis. Over 11 months, this will sum up to over 2000 free meals*.

How will this information be conveyed to the public? Serge Jadin explains:
“Renmans will pass on to their clients that, between December 2016 and November 2017, they will provide enough meat to prepare over 4 500 meals* for free. This solidarity action will be advertised in the folders, on social media, etc. However, the employees in the butcher’s shops are proud to take over the main part of raising awareness to this wonderful solidarity action by explaining to their clients how they contribute through their purchases!”

Renman’s slogan is “Keeper of quality” and its’ butchers are dedicated to provide the Stëmm vun der Strooss with the same quality meat that can be found on its shelves. The Stëmm takes the responsibility of transporting the meat under the best hygiene and freshness conditions.
