Sodoxo offered furniture to the Stëmm vun der Strooss

«Why throw out your old furniture when others can make good use of it?» This is the question Annie Riquet, Graphic coordinatrice of the Marketing Service for Sodexo and Patrick Reding, Director of CIPA Gréngewald ask others. It was not long after that, that a donation of 8 tables, 2 relaxing arm-chairs, 10 chairs with arm-rests and 15 folding-chairs was given to the workshop Schweesdreps, located at 30, rue Jos Kieffer in Esch-sur-Alzette. This donation has resulted in a partnership between Sodexo and the Stëmm vun der Strooss since 2014.
For Anne Waringo, who is responsible for the Schweesdreps, «… this donation would fit our needs, because our furniture needs to be replaced since having obtained it for our opening in 2015. Since then, they have become old and well-used and our refectory needs to be re-furnished.»
The Directrice of the Stëmm, Alexandra Oxacelay also says, «… most importantly, that 30 people actually benefit and appreciate their actual work at the Schweesdreps.» 4,000 complete uniforms are washed every week. They are also delivered to 40 different football clubs.
