On the 15th of January, the deputy and president of the parliamentary faction of the Christian Social Party, Claude Wiseler, the president of the Christian Social Party (CSV), Marc Spautz and the deputy and vice-president of the Health, Equality of chances and Sports Commission, Sylvie Andrich-Duval visited the social restaurant in Hollerich in order to discover the numerous activities being offered there. They also used the opportunity to have lunch on the ground.
This visit was also an opportunity to discuss the needs regarding the battle against homelessness and to stress the importance of the new program concerning the battle against food waste, Caddy2/Schweesdrëps, presented by the président of the Stëmm vun der Strooss, Marcel Detaille, the vice president, André Theisen, the representative of the Ministry of Health the doctor Arno Bache and the director Alexandra Oxacelay.
As a reminder, this project will allow to collect up to 500 tons of food per year. It also gives 90 disadvantaged people the opportunity to work and will enlarge the list of benificiary associations.
