The “Youth House” in Dudelange collects 700 kg clothes for the Stëmm vun der Strooss

Very nice initiative from young people who are part of the “Youth House” of Dudelange: following their request and for the 3rd year in a row, a collection of clothes was organized to collect clothes that will then be given to the beneficiaries from the social restaurant of Stëmm vun der Strooss.
Under the direction of Mr Marques, 25 young people, between 12 and 24 years old, organized this collection of clothes for the benefit of Stemm vun der Strooss.
The advertising poster made for this occasion and the communication in the press have worked well : 700 kg of clothes have been collected between October 20th and November 17th, 2017.
The delivery of the collected clothes to the Stemm vun der Stross a.s.b.l. was made on the beginning of december.
It is expected that a group of young people will have lunch at Hollerich’s social restaurant during the carnival holidays, in order to interact with Stemm volunteers and beneficiaries of the social restaurant.
If you would also like to support disadvantaged people this winter, donations can be transferred to the Stëmm vun der Strooss account opened within BCEE : LU63 0019 2100 0888 3000. Donations are tax deductible.
