Press release: Landscaping of the green areas of the Stëmm Caddy by the gardeners of Schoenfels and volunteers from Fidelity International

Final cosmetic repairs in Sanem before the inauguration of the workshops for professional reintegration, which is planned for 28 September in the presence of, among others, the Minister of Health, Paulette Lehnert, and the Prime Minister, Xavier Bettel.

After the moving phases of the different workshops, the planting of the green areas outside the building was on the agenda and the result can definitely be seen. The team of the Stëmm educator, Philippe Frisch, worked on the planting for several weeks.

They were able to count on the help of many volunteers from Fidelity International, the Luxembourg-based asset manager, who gladly took on the work entrusted to them and clearly enjoyed their volunteer work. The collaboration with the Stëmm employees also went very well and they are looking forward to working together again in the future, as Philippe Frisch reports: “I thank all the volunteers of Fidelity International for their support. They did a great job and it was a pleasure to work with them on this project. We will certainly meet again for a similar task.

The Stëmm Caddy will enable the professional integration of 90 people who will once again have a regular working day. They will find a work rhythm and team spirit and thus exist in the eyes of society.

Due to organisation, efficiency and cost reduction, the workshops Schweesdrëps and Caddy as well as the service Immo Stëmm are from now on centralised on the same premises. Here, 40 people who are undergoing vocational rehabilitation wash 4,700 sports team jerseys in the Schweesdrëps. In the Caddy workshop, around 40 people are employed to process and redistribute 125 tonnes of food from the Auchan hypermarket every year. Thanks to the adapted infrastructure and kitchens, the non-profit association will aim to increase the amount of food currently processed from 100 to 500 tonnes.
