Press release: Pizzas and presents, a small measure of Christmas

In collaboration with the Ikano Group in Luxembourg, Pizza Guy offered 300 pizzas to the clients of the social restaurant of the Stëmm vun der Strooss in Hollerich. As he proudly pointed out during his visit to 7, rue de la Fonderie on 9 December: “I was the first pizza-foodtruck in the Grand Duchy and all my products are labeled Made in Luxembourg”. Today Pizza Guy even has a small restaurant in Junglinster where you can try his creations. For logistical reasons, the delivery was done in two rounds. And he continues: “My worker and I started to prepare the pizzas in our new premises at 3 am. Since all the work is homemade, you have to get up early to be able to deliver on time. He is finishing the last 150 pizzas as we speak.”
This action would not have been possible without the participation and organizational skills of Ikano group. Last year, the same event took place under slightly different conditions: the clients had to queue in front of the social restaurant and were served directly from the foodtruck. This year, customers were able to enjoy their pizzas in the warmth of the social restaurant, without having to queue. Upon their leaving, the customers were given a small present by Santa Claus himself.
The weather wasn’t exactly perfect that day, but the customers’ smiles were. According to Charles Bechet, Hollerich site manager: “Their joy replaces all the sunshine and warms our hearts in the blink of an eye.
