Press release : Fondation Majany – Cupid for the Stëmm again

The Fondation Majany, under the aegis of the Fondation de Luxembourg, brought joy to the various premises of the Stëmm vun der Strooss on Tuesday 14 February 2023.

It is in fact the fifth year in a row that Majany, represented by Mr Frédéric Loridon and Mr Laurent Meiers, has given roses to the Stëmm on Valentine’s Day – the day of lovers. This year, 400 roses were distributed in the association’s social restaurants in Hollerich and Esch-sur-Alzette and to the various workshops for professional reintegration, such as Caddy and Schweesdrëps in Sanem or even the post-therapeutic centre in Schoenfels and the new social restaurant in Ettelbruck.

This made it possible to give roses to both the disadvantaged people who take advantage of the various services offered by the association and the 170 people who work in the workshops for professional reintegration.

The director of the Stëmm, Alexandra Oxacelay, is happy about this action because “it triggers emotions and there is nothing more beautiful than seeing the smile of a person that society too often forgets and ignores”.
