The Stëmm vun der Strooss signs a social rental management agreement in partnership with the Ministry of Housing

The Stëmm vun der Strooss, represented by Benoit Klensch, person in charge for the Immo-Stëmm department, signed a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Housing on 1 April 2021. The aim of this partnership is to rent flats to individuals in order to make them available to people with financial difficulties and to make better use of vacant housing.

As a contractual partner, the Stëmm vun der Strooss guarantees the landlords that the rent will be paid each month and ensures that each resident leaves his or her accommodation in a correct condition. Thanks to the agreement with the Ministry of Housing, the Immo-Stëmm department of the Stëmm vun der Strooss is further strengthened.

Benoit Klensch explains how Immo-Stëmm works: “The purpose of this service is to make the real estate market accessible to people with a modest income and to act as a middle person between owners and tenants. In 2020, 30 people could be accommodated in 26 flats or studios. We at the Stëmm vun der Strooss are committed to guiding and supporting lodgers on every step of the way.” Of these 26 units, 7 are from the partnership with the Ministry of Housing.
