Press release: The students of the Lycée Guillaume Kroll have committed themselves to a good cause

As part of raising young people’s awareness of the problems related to addiction, homelessness and unemployment, Bob Ritz visited class 6PC of the Lycée Guillaume Kroll in Esch-sur-Alzette. This class is part of the Cap Futur project of the Lycée Guillaume Kroll, an innovative project which, in addition to the lessons (as in the other classes), pays special attention to the development of responsibility and maturity of the students.
On the initiative of teacher Patrick Miller, the students organised a collection of clothes, hygiene items and non-perishable food to support the Stëmm vun der Strooss in the month of December, when the need for warm clothes is very great.
There was a presentation of the activities of the Stëmm and a reflective exchange between the young people and the representative of the association.
The Stëmm will distribute the clothes and hygiene items free of charge to disadvantaged people attending the Kleederstuffs in Hollerich 7, rue de la Fonderie and in Esch-sur-Alzette, 32 Grand Rue. The food is in turn used in the social restaurant in Hollerich.
The charity would like to thank Patrick Miller’s Lycée Guillaume Kroll class 6PC for their commitment.
