Kanner Stëmm

The aim of Stëmm vun der Strooss is to support all people in difficulty. For a long time, the activities offered have focused almost exclusively on the world of adults, but the year 2021 will bring a change. With the introduction of the Kanner Stëmm service, the Stëmm vun der Strooss will now be able to offer help to the youngest members of society too. The Kanner Stëmm service aims to support children and families with social problems. The aim is not to judge a family, but to understand how they function and their difficulties. The social paediatrician stresses the importance of a relationship of trust and transparency between all the parties involved: the school, the family, the paediatrician, the psychologists and social workers, the police, the public prosecutor's office, and so on. As part of this cooperation, the Stëmm is finally able to support a child, a mother, a father, a couple, a family, a sibling, etc. To facilitate the work of social paediatrics at national level, agreements between the Grand Duchy's hospitals and the Stëmm vun der Strooss are currently being signed.

Opening hours
