Press release : Clothes for the Stëmm

The Stëmm vun der Strooss currently has a great shortage of suitable clothing for the recipients of their "Kleederstuff". Every donation is welcome at the moment and the association would therefore like to thank the company BorgWarner Luxembourg for organising a clothing collection for the benefit of those in need.

BorgWarner Luxembourg, a company based in Hautcharage that provides clean and efficient technological solutions for combustion, hybrid and electric vehicles, handed over a considerable collection of clothing, shoes, drinking bottles and other items to Bob Ritz, the Stëmm's communications officer, on Monday 12 September.

Anissa Ben Faida and Elodie Gonzalez who initiated the collection called on their many colleagues to bring new or used clothing for a good cause. Given the very high level of need at this time of year, this donation will be used to replenish the stock at the Kleederstuff located at 7, rue de la Fonderie in Luxembourg/Hollerich and 32, Grand Rue in Esch-sur-Alzette. As Bob Ritz points out: "All year round, donations of clothing can be dropped off at the Kleederstuff without an appointment, Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 4.30 pm”.

The Stëmm vun der Strooss would like to thank all the employees of BorgWarner Luxembourg and calls on any companies or individuals who would like to carry out a similar action.

The association is mainly looking for men's clothing in sizes S, M and L.
